How can I update firmware of my HubbleClub camera?

Usually, the firmware is updated automatically within 24 hours after a new version is available. If you just added the camera today and you noticed a new version is available, please keep the camera plugged in and online for 24 hours and it should be updated automatically as well.

If after 24 hours it was not updated, you can try to upgrade it manually following the below steps:

  1. Ensure you are running the most recent version of the HubbleClub app.
  2. Open HubbleClub app and choose Monitoring tab.
  3. On the camera list page, tap the 3 lines icon of the camera of which you would like to update the firmware.
  4. In Details section, please tap on semicircular arrow under Firmware Upgrade to see if there is an update available and if so, follow the instructions shown on the screen.

Notes

  • Make sure you do not reset your camera, and that you remain on the same network during the firmware update (1-5 minutes).
  • You can upgrade the camera’s firmware when you are connected locally and remotely as well.
