What can I change under General Settings (iOS and Android)?

Select Camera Settings > General Settings if you want to adapt any of below listed settings:

  • Ceiling Mount: Allows you to flip the image 180º (only for the supported camera models)
  • Night Vision: Select between Auto (night vision is automatically activated when the sensor detects there is little light), ON (night vision is permanently on, displaying black/white images), OFF (night vision is permanently off, which may limit the effective range of the camera when there isn’t much light).
  • Brightness: Use the slider to adapt the brightness of the image.
  • Volume: Use the slider to adapt the volume.

Depending on the camera you use there may be additional settings:

  • View mode: Select between Narrow and Wide to change the field of view.
  • Video Quality Levels: Select between Low, Fair, Good and Best to change values such as resolution and bit rate. Please note that the higher quality you set the better network connection you should have.
  • LED Indication During Streaming: If active the LED on the camera will be blinking if you watch the live streaming. If you deactivate it and then view live streaming, the LED on the camera should be steady blue.
  • Quality of Services: If activated the video quality level adjusts depending on the signal strength. The interval for adjustment is 1 minute.
  • Overlay Date: The Focus86 allows you to display the time and date in the stream screen and the recordings.
