How to understand whether I am accessing my camera locally or remotely?

When you are accessing your camera from the same Wi-Fi® network in which it is set up and configured (most likely your home Wi-Fi®), you are accessing it locally

When you are accessing your camera from a different network than the one to which your camera is connected, you are accessing it remotely. You may then be using 3G, 4G or 4G LTE or a Wi-Fi® connection outside of your home.
