I can’t set up the SmartZone in the app. What should I do?

SmartZone requires a compatible Motorola camera and a membership plan.  If you have a compatible camera and plan, follow the steps below to set up SmartZone.

  1. Update and open your Hubble Connected for Motorola app or log in to your online account.
  2. View the live feed for your SmartZone compatible camera and tap the new SmartZone icon.
  3. Drag the points of the SmartZone to cover the area you need and tap Save & Exit.
  4. Go to the Camera Sensor Settings, and ensure that the following settings are configured:
  • Motion Sensitivity is set to Medium or higher
  • Motion Video Recording is set to Cloud
  • SmartZone is set to On
  • Enter and/or Exit events are set to On. 

At the moment SmartZone is only available on a limited number of camera models: MBP854connect, MBP85connect, MBP855connect, MBP845connect, MBP853connect, MBP667connect, Focus85, Focus89, Focus71, Ease44, Focus68, Focus72, MBP67connect, MBP88connect. 

NB: SmartZone is included in our 14-days free trial, so if you have been using SmartZone but now cannot see the option it may be that your trial has expired.
